In late 2022, Hawk Heritage was asked to provide and advice and representations on the archaeological impacts of a proposed electricity connection to heritage assets, including a scheduled monument at Fordham in Cambridgeshire. The connections were part of a DCO application for Sunnica Energy Farm. The proposal had the potential to impact upon a scheduled monument, a listed building and numerous potentially important archaeological sites. The advice concluded that an alternative option to that originally proposed would be likely to cause significantly less harm to heritage assets.
