Hawk Heritage was asked by the client to provide an appeal statement against the failure to grant planning permission for two new houses in Lime Walk, Maidenhead. The planning permission had been refused on the grounds of harm to the adjacent conservation area. Chris worked with the architect and planning consultant to make minor amendments to the design of the new houses and submitted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. The appeal statement rebutted the view that there was any harm to the Conservation Area or nearby listed buildings and locally listed buildings. The Planning Inspector agreed and the appeal was successful.
